Zonia obtained an honours degree in Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria. In 1998, two years after completing her degree, she received a merit award at the Sasol New Signatures competition. Her work has been included in collections such as Sasol, Absa Private Bank, Hewlett Packard, Rand Merchant Bank, Nando’s (UK), and Leon Strydom. In 2009, she won the Sanlam “Vuleka” painting category. She has already held six solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions.
